Presentation of the international contest «People of Artek» took place in South Ossetia

The representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in South Ossetia held a presentation of the international contest for schoolchildren «People of Artek». The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of South Ossetia.

The participants of the event were shown a video about the history of the International Center (ICC) and about what Artek represents today. As the representative of the Russian House in Tskhinval, Alla Mandrazhi, noted, the international action «People of Artek» is dedicated to the celebration of the centenary of the ICC in 2025.

«The contest is held for the first time. Children from 29 countries will take part in the international action. To participate, you need to choose a hero from your country who has been in Artek, and tell in an original way about the life of a compatriot who has been in the camp», — Mandrazhi said.

She noted that a responsible approach is extremely important to win the contest.

«Our organization would like the guys from South Ossetia to take part in the competition. Children between the ages of 12 and 17 can take part in it. Registration closes April 30th. The winners will become participants in the change of the Artek camp in 2023», — added Mandrazhi.

Further, the representative of the Russian House in Tskhinval spoke in detail about how you can become a participant in one of the races to the famous camp and about the conditions of the contest and the package of documents required for participation.

The best works will be selected by the competition committee, and the winners of the competition will receive free tickets to the eighth shift of the Artek ICC in 2023.
