Educational institutions and leaders have been actively registering in the Artek People contest on the portal since the start of the Artek People international campaign. 93 educational institutions from already 9 countries participate in the action - Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus, Syria, Lebanon, China. Among the leaders in terms of the absolute number of schools participating in the campaign are Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Abkhazia, Kazakhstan, Syria, Belarus, Lebanon. At the moment, 224 schoolchildren are taking part in the international action.

Those wishing to participate in the competition grew from day to day, which is why the organizers and co-organizers had to meet the needs of educational organizations several times and extend the deadlines for registration first, and then the first stage of the competition. 123 contestants uploaded their work.

According to the curators of the action in the schools of the participating countries, the action provides an excellent opportunity for schoolchildren to see Russia, get acquainted with its traditions and history, visit the world-famous Artek international center and find new friends there.

The competition commissions included representatives of the executive authorities in the field of education, coordinators from educational institutions, representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo from each country, experts in the field of culture and education. The competition committees will evaluate the work of the participants and sum up the results of the first stage of the "People of Artek" competition in the country of implementation.
