More than 200 schoolchildren from 14 countries took part. The winners of the international competition were 98 schoolchildren from India, Egypt, Mongolia, Syria, Armenia, Abkhazia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and South Ossetia. The children received free vouchers for the eighth shift of 2023 in the camp "Artek", which starts on July 15.


The day before, the head of the United Russia Commission for International Cooperation and Support for Compatriots Abroad, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov paid tribute to the party's youth projects, including the international campaign "People of Artek". He also spoke about the need for its further support.

In turn, the coordinator of the party project "World of Opportunities" Roman Romanov invited Sergey Lavrov to take part in the final events of the "People of Artek" action in 2023.

"From July 30 to August 2, Artek will host the international children's forum "Artek Gathers Friends", where we plan to give a start to the second People of Artek competition for the period from September 2023 to May 2024. We hope that the "Club of Friends of Russia" program will allow us to significantly expand the geography of the campaign and increase the number of its participants", - said Roman Romanov.

Recall, the party project "World of Opportunities" is aimed at involving families led by parents of schoolchildren and preschoolers in contests, campaigns and development projects designed to strengthen educational work in the youth environment and promote traditional spiritual and moral values of the Russian Federation. Now in Russia are held campaigns "Hero of our time", "Values of the future in the traditions of folk culture", "Healthy nutrition at school and at home", "Financial security in the digital world", "Digital Me", in which more than 19 thousand educational organizations from all over Russia take part.
