The winners of the People of Artek international contest from Kyrgyzstan were awarded in Bishkek
The competition committee in Kyrgyzstan selected the 10 best winners of the People of Artek contest, who will go to the international shift at the Artek International Children's Center. Roman Romanov, coordinator of the World of Opportunities project of the United Russia party, and Albert Zulkharneev, head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in the Kyrgyz Republic, presented the vouchers at the Russian House in Bishkek.
Roman Romanov said that the project is timed to the 100th anniversary of Artek and all this time children from all over the world make friends and discover unique opportunities.
Vadim Gusev, Minister Counselor of the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, emphasized: "Artek not only leaves an indelible impression in the lives of those who have been there at least once, but also often dramatically influences the future fate of its students. Each of you was able to make sure of this during the competition, when it was necessary to conduct a research about a native of Kyrgyzstan and tell about the role the legendary camp played in his life". These theses were immediately confirmed by Nadezhda Varketina, a teacher at the Ecological and Economic Lyceum No. 65, author of many books and scientific articles, who visited Artek in 1965: "Artek set me up for life. I remained an Artekian forever."

I began to feel more confident as a result of my success. Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security and Migration, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Leila Lurova noted at the summing up ceremony that the participation of young Kyrgyz in the international shift in Artek opens new opportunities for everyone. She expressed readiness to develop cooperation with the UNITED RUSSIA party aimed at making the youth of Russia and Kyrgyzstan more aware of each other.
The participants of the event expressed their special gratitude to Andrey Belianinov, Secretary General of the Assembly of Peoples of Eurasia, and Tilek Bolotboyev, Director General of EuroTrans Logistics, for their assistance in ensuring the travel of the winners from Kyrgyzstan to Artek.
