Manifesto of the participants of the round table "Club of Friends of Russia" to Artek residents
One of the key events of the Artek Gathers Friends International Forum was the round table "Friends of Russia Club" held at the Livadia Palace. Guys from different countries discussed the achievements of Russian diplomacy, its history and modernity, dialogue of cultures as a basis for mutual understanding and cooperation, and talked about cooperation between public organizations and movements of children and youth. The result of the round table was the Manifesto of Friendship prepared and adopted by the young Artek students. The Manifesto was read out to the participants of the 8th shift at the "Meeting before parting", which took place at the Artek Arena.

"Artek has always been a symbol of friendship of all children living on planet Earth. Participants of the 8th Artek shift from 52 countries of the world united in the power of friendship and cooperation.
We can say with certainty that friendship born here is the strongest of all. Each friendship is unique and special, just like each of us. It is formed on the basis of mutual understanding, trust and support. We grow and develop with our friends. With friends you can share joy and grief, friendship requires the ability to listen and hear, to be ready to support in a difficult moment.
We believe that inside each of you live kindness and understanding, sincere desire to contribute to the common fate of the planet, to change the world for the better.
Together we must build bridges between nations and peoples, unite our efforts to solve the world's problems.
We oppose injustice and division, replacing them with mutual understanding and support.
Let us make the world brighter by enjoying life, creating a just society in our countries, where every person, regardless of nationality, religion or social status, will feel happy.
Friends, we appeal to you as worthy representatives of the world community, believing in the power of friendship, to do your best to overcome the difficulties and barriers that separate adults on the way to the future of their children - you and me!
