The action was initiated in 2023 by the “World of Opportunities” project. Roman Romanov, Coordinator of the project “World of Opportunities,” told the Minister about the results of the 2023 campaign: “In 2023, foreign schoolchildren from 14 countries took part in our campaign, and 69 of them visited the Artek as competition winners.” The action has confirmed its usefulness as an effective tool for implementing Russian priorities in the field of international humanitarian cooperation, creating an infrastructure for contacts between children of Russia and friendly countries of the “world majority”, and laying the foundations at an early stage for a new generation of international community of partners and friends of Russia. Today we launch the next stage of 2024.” Roman Romanov asked Sergei Lavrov to appeal to foreign schoolchildren to participate in the “People of Artek” competition.
