This year, 38 leaders from Armenia took part in the “People of Artek” contest. They conducted 44 “Artek lessons”. Here's what Armenian leaders share about their lessons:

“I learned about Artek in the fifth grade when one girl (Antonyan Susanna) from our school came to our class and told us about Artek. She told it so well that at that very second I had a goal to get there. I taught the children a lesson, told them about Artek, and we made eco-friendly pens with the Artek logo as a souvenir for future Artek residents” - Marina Grigoryan.

Veronika Mitrofanova invited her Artek hero to her lesson-presentation about the camp, about whom she wrote her research: “Tatyana Stepanovna spoke interestingly, brightly and colorfully about Artek and the children she met in Crimea. I believe that communication with new friends, classes in various clubs and master classes, as well as active games and sports events at Artek will help me become a more independent, confident person, open to new knowledge and opportunities!”
