In Armenia, more than 300 students participated in the 2025 "People of Artek" campaign.

Students from Armenia are among the most active participants in the contest from the very beginning. Every year, the number of schools and participants grows. This year, 21 educational institutions and 35 participants have registered for the "People of Artek" Contest.
Elmira Karagyozyan from the village of Alashkert shares her impressions of participating in the campaign:
How 'Artek' Became My Dream in One Day:

"My name is Elmira Karagyozyan, I am from Armenia, and I live in the village of Alashkert. I am currently participating in the "People of Artek" contest. One day, during a Russian language lesson, our teacher asked the class:
— Who wants to participate in the contest?
At first, I didn’t want to participate. I had often tried my hand at various contests, but unfortunately, I almost always lost. So this time, I thought it would be the same, and I didn’t see the point in trying again. I had no hope of winning.
But they persuaded me. Deep down, I wanted to go to "Artek" myself, but the fear of failure prevented me from believing in myself.
I have already held two lessons as part of the contest. And even if I don't win, I’m still glad that I learned about this amazing place. The most valuable thing for me is inspiring others. After my lessons, children came up to me and said they also dream of going to "Artek." Some asked:
— Is it too late to participate in the contest?
And then I realized: the most important thing is not to be afraid to try. Even if something doesn’t work out, it’s important not to give up, keep moving forward, and believe in your dream.".
