The final meeting with candidates for participation in the "Artek" competition took place on March 14 in the city of Kafr Yasif.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Amin Safiya, Honorary Consul General of the Russian Federation; Friend Tawfiq Kanaane, a representative of the "Russophiles" Association (Friends of Russia) and a former participant of the "Artek" camp in 1962 who accompanied youth to the camp; Ward Kopti, a representative of the "Friends of Russia" Association; Awaf Safiya, the consulate secretary; and students participating in the competition. During the final meeting, each participant spoke about their life, about "Artek," and about meeting those who had previously been to the camp.

Some participants also discussed Russia’s role in the East, its efforts to promote the Russian language and culture in the Holy Land, as well as the provision of Russian scholarships from 1958 to the present day. Additionally, the importance of such meetings was emphasized in strengthening ties among young people, introducing them to the customs and traditions of Russia's peoples, and connecting with former camp participants.

 At the end of the meeting, the results of the three selection stages were summarized, leading to the selection of six candidates recommended for victory in the anniversary session of the "Artek" camp.
