Tedeev Barsag, Republic of South Ossetia

"From the very beginning, we were divided into specialized groups: 'marine', 'EMERCOM', and 'media'. Each of them turned out to be unique in its own way. Some learned to operate boats and studied maritime affairs, some trained in rescue exercises and learned how to act in emergencies, while others found themselves at the heart of events, creating news, photos, and videos about camp life.

In the almost week we spent in Artek, so much happened that it feels like we've been here for a month. We participated in creative competitions where we revealed our talents, and in sports competitions where we fought for victory with enthusiasm and team spirit. But most importantly, we made many new friends. We met guys from different cities and even countries, and now every morning begins with smiles and conversations in different languages.

And this is just the beginning. Ahead of us is not just a continuation of the shift, but a special anniversary—the 100th anniversary of Artek! We are sure that by the end of this shift, we will have unforgettable memories. Because Artek is not just a camp. It’s a place where dreams come true, and reality is much better than any expectations."
